If you use an avatar located on a remote server that has remote embed safeguards, it will produce errors in this forum, like the familiar:
Warning: file_get_contents(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/content/d/i/a/diamondsky/html/forum/includes/class/mod_avatar.class.php on line 9
in your user control panel you'll find that the feature of uploading your own image to this server, or using an existing one here is now available and will eliminate the error.
If you have an offsite avatar in use now, and see that error when you post, be sure to use the avatar feature in this forum to correct this.
be sure your image is a jpg, only 60 pixels high and no spaces in the file name.
upload it and browse the avatar thumbnails to find yours, right click it, and select "copy image location/address" and paste that into your avatar source field in the user control panel. |
